Deep Sea Fishing
Fishing enthusiasts visiting Panama City Beach will not leave the resort area empty-handed. The clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico and St. Andrews Bay are teeming with fish, offering some of the best sport fishing in the world. Visitors can test their angling versatility by fly casting for redfish in St. Andrews Bay, trolling the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico for a regal blue marlin or playing tug-of-war with a feisty red snapper in one of the area's numerous wrecks and artificial reefs.
There are also hundred of acres of wadeable flats and three fishing piers extending into the Gulf of Mexico.

Golf
While the area does not yet boast the golf opportunities of an area like Myrtle Beach, with an estimated 320 days of sunshine each year and moderate year-round temperatures, the region is a superb location for golf.
The Bay Point Resort is one of Florida’s top golf spots, offering two golf courses, a practice range, pro shop and restaurant/lounge. One of the courses is the all-new championship Jack Nicklaus Course at Bay Point, the only Nicklaus design in Northwest Florida;
Holiday Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole, par 72 championship course. This 6,600-yard course features 18 newly constructed Tif Dwarf greens and a challenging slope rating of 130.
The Hombre serves as host of PGA Qualifying Schools, and has earned a reputation as an intimidating course. Designed by Wes Burnham, this semi-private course features water on 15 of the 18 original holes and has added nine new holes. The course has earned a slope rating of 136 slope rating on the original 18 holes.
Signal Hill is the first area course situated right in Panama City Beach, featuring powder white dunes and wide-open, well-groomed fairways.
